The idea of Jordan picking up flowers from on top of a grave and dancing with them, as Mr Smith said it may be seen as too insulting which wasn't the idea i wanted to portray, however it would have made connotations to our character being selfish and disrespectful (I would have provided my own flowers by the way!)
Madonna's 'Like A Prayer' was controversial and shocked many people and turned out to be successful, but perhaps too much controversy would be inappropriate for A Level work.
Owain has now edited the story board so that clip is not included, however the flowers still are featured in the video using intertextuality as they make connotations to Morrissey's performances.
