6 panel digipack
with the 6 panel digipak you can choose whether you open the case and the cd is central to the packaging or to the left or right, these digipaks are less compact but fit together more effectively giving the cd more protection. They have more panels so can feature more decorative designs as well as the basic information needed.
4 panel digipack
The 4 panel digipaks are more simple and easier to open up, however can swing open giving the cd less protection, I like the look of these as they focus all the information and decoration needed to entice the audience however usually come with a cardboard covering which then keeps the pack in place.
I will experiment making 6 panels and then decide whether it works better with 4 or 6.
you can also make slip cases for the digipack making them look professional, if I have time before the deadline i will also experiment with making and putting together one of these.
