Representation

I think that for our CD cover, we would like to use a close up photograph of our protagonist. We had the idea of him smoking, and the idea of carrying on the duplicate theme.
Overall, we have aimed to represent Jordan as a rebellious, 'cocky' and a fairly negative character, but one that the audience can find humourous and prehaps endearing. The smoking idea would support this as he would be represented as the carefree teenage stereotype and there is an element of rock and roll glamour in this image which gives our protagonist 'sex appeal' as he is your typical bad boy. This has both negative and postitive connotations but in terms of our audience, I think it would bear more positive connotations. We are looking into producing something in black and white, which fits the old style and the indie/alternative music genre and our protagonist's fairly rock and roll image.
The song 'Bigmouth Strikes Again' does not highlight any social issues or concerns and is a generally humorous and quirky song, therefore we would want to reflect this in our album artwork and advertisements.
