i came up with some ideas for an album cover, these are really rough sketches just so i don't lose my idea over night! I like the idea of hewitson smoking as it gives him attitude similar to the negativity portrayed in big mouth strikes again. The second sketch is of hewitson smoking with himself, i think this looks quirky and puts in place the bad boy teen stereotype. It also carries on the duplication of Hewitson which we used in our video.
Here i have put together some font and colour schemes i am interested in using on the ancillary. My favourites are Lane B, Rough Typewriter and Octin Vintage Free. my favourite colour scheme is the greyscale one as this makes vintage connotations. Black and white is also mysterious and Hewitson is represented as a fairly mysterious/mischievous character, as it is hard to connect with his awkwardness and rudeness.
these brushes make vintage connotations because the look quite old and worn. I think they will look really effective used on the print so i will experiment into which work best.
